CLYDE HILL KITCHEN

Our Clyde Hill clients came to us with big dreams and cramped quarters. Their existing floor plan was limited by an interior partition that created disjointed spaces and cut off access to stunning garden views and daylight. The revised space plan unified the kitchen and dining areas with an open plan, and allowed for an elongated central island to accommodate large family gatherings.

Conceptually, the client was drawn to the smoky drama of 19th century Opium Dens, so our finish selections gave a subtle nod to this inspiration with sultry wide-plank walnut floors, blackened metal accents, and charcoal glazed tile at the beverage bar.
