GREEN LAKE LOOS
When this self-described “wallpaper fan-girl” came calling with big plans to update all the bathrooms in her family’s charming Green Lake craftsman home, our little designer hearts began to pitter patter. Working within the confines of the existing architecture on a timeline racing the arrival of a new baby, we were tasked with packing as much color and pattern punch into these rooms as possible.
THE MERMAN BATH
This little boys’ bath afforded us the opportunity to embrace playfulness and vibrant pops of colors. Sunshine hued cabinetry, natural brass accents, and turquoise mermaid tail tiles all play nicely with the sea-creature wallpaper and a classic mosaic hex floor.
THE LADY’S LOUNGE
As the wise Bard once wrote, “All that glitters is not gold.” Old William was correct — sometimes it’s unlacquered brass, or Calacatta, or Lucite. We employed all the glittery bits in this primary bath, paired with a peek-a-boo tropical paradise paper in the WC as the cherry on top.
THE POISSON LOO
In this guest bath, our brave clients encouraged us to pump up the volume and go all-in on glamour. Ichthyoid papered walls, milky pink glass tile in the shower, a custom brass and marble vanity, and striking woven patterned stone floors all come together to form a dramatic bathing oasis.
