SAMMAMISH REFRESH

In its original state this kitchen was bifurcated by a full-height partition wall smack dab in the middle of the space. This arrangement had the ill effect of cramping the kitchen while also blocking lovely Western-facing views of Lake Sammamish. Home to four kids, two adults, and one goldendoodle puppy, this family was in dire need of breathing room.

Our updated design embraced the English "dining-table-as-island" space plan, ensuring there would space at the table for everyone. The perfect pale taupe-hue was selected for the cabinets which offsets the fresh tadelakt plaster hood and zellige tile backsplash.
